Why Line My Chimney?
Some chimneys are just not safe. They may be cracked, unlined, or structurally unsound. This chimney lining system is designed
to reduce the area that has to be kept warm to reduce creosote condensate and contain the smoke and possible chimney fire within a confined space.
For most chimneys, the standard lining components should get the smoke from your stove to the top of your chimney, but if you have a different configuration than normal, call us and we will figure out a way to make your chimney safe. This liner will not hold up a sagging chimney, and you must be able to get the liner through the opening, so some preliminary work is necessary. Once you determine the size pipe you need and whether or not you have a viable chimney, use the following components to safely line your own chimney.
Custom Job vs. Boxed Kit
For jobs with specific requirements for length and components, you may "part-out" your custom job by purchasing Ventinox liner by the foot and FasNClamp components. This information is below.
For simple jobs you may choose a fixed-length kit Liner in a Box.
Please call us at 1-800-472-6728 and we can help you determine which way to go.

* Note: If you are planning to line your chimney, your damper inside the fireplace will not be needed. For ease in liner installation, we recomment the damper be removed. You can do this by scoring the back half of the cast iron damper frame with a grinding tool, and then breaking the damper frame out with a hammer. In most cases, this will eliminate the need for ovalizing and significantly reduce the amount of work you will have to do when making the connection from your heater to the lining.

Insulate Your Chimney Liner - We stongly recommend insulating your liner. Insulating your liner will make it draft better, stay cleaner, and reduce the risk of chimney fire due to creosote build-up.
