Buck Stove and Pool has been lining chimneys for over 25 years. The Ventinox chimney lining sytem now makes it possible for you to line your own chimney.
Some chimneys are just not safe. They may be cracked, unlined, or structurally unsound. This chimney lining system is designed to reduce the area that has to be kept warm to reduce creosote condensate, and contain the smoke and possible chimney fire in a confined space. The following components should get the smoke from your stove to the top of your chimney, but if you have a different configuration than normal, call us and we will figure out a way to make your chimney safe. This liner will not hold up a sagging chimney, and you must be able to get the liner thru the opening, so some preliminary work is necessary. Once you determine the size pipe you need and whether or not you have a viable chimney, use the following components to safely line your own chimney.
To give you an idea of the cost of a typical lining, we have broken the components down in the illustration below. Remember, this is a "typical" lining job. Every job is different and may require fewer, or additional components.

6 and 8 inch are most common Ventinox VFT 316 Ti Stainless Steel pipe is listed for all fuels, and has a lifetime warranty for oil,gas, wood, pellet, and a 10 year warranty for coal.

 Adjustable Fireplace insert converter (2 pc) - Fits over rectangular flue outlets (maximum opening 6x16 1/2 inches) The bottom plate is drawn tightly to the insert by using the included draw down kit. The top plate fits over an oval flex connector to form a dripless connection. |

Put the bottom plate on the insert and slide it back into the fireplace, put the top plate on the flex pipe and let it hang, reach up thru the stove damper and make the connection.

The STA Adapter is currently only available in 6 inch 322466 $81.00
This would take the place of the DCF-RO for a six inch liner if applicable. Its hard to tell but one end is oval and the other round.
