Shipping & Returns


We try to ship all in-stock item orders within 24 hours, during our normal business hours.  If the product is not in stock, we will contact you to let you know how long it will be. Please include an email address for best communication of product tracking numbers, and/or back orders.  You should assume that every item is in stock unless we contact you and tell you otherwise.  Average ship times for small, in-stock products are 6 to 10 business days

Shipping is done where possible by US Postal Priority MAIL or Fed Ex. If it is not possible to MAIL or Fed Ex a shipment you will be made aware of the freight arrangements.

Any freight over 150 lbs is shipped by LTL freight truck. Truck lines charge extra for residential delivery and lift gate service. You can avoid the extra charges by picking up at the truck freight terminal or having your shipment delivered to a place of business with a loading dock or forklift (for example your local hardware store, not a school or government facility).

Periodic offers of free or reduced freight is predicated on this terminal pick-up policy. Also noted as Standard Delivery to LTL Freight truck terminal

Additional charges for residential delivery will apply. Also noted as Enhanced or Curbside Delivery – by LTL Freight truck.

Freight is not included in our prices. If you don’t know the charges, please ask. We don’t make any money on freight, but we can’t afford to lose any either.

Buck Stove, Pool & Spa will NOT be responsible for any additional charges that result from service requests made by the customer to the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Payment for services rendered by the freight company other than those explicitly appearing on the ORIGINAL BILL OF LADING will be the responsibility of the consignee (customer).


Everything is shipped new in the box. If the box has obvious damage you should get the carrier to acknowledge the damage in writing (usually on the freight bill). A claim will need to be filed with the freight carrier to recover damages by the customer.  We will help you with this claim, but it is your claim as the goods are shipped F.O.B. our yard or EX-WORKS, meaning the title to the goods changes to the customer when the goods are loaded prior to shipping. In plain terms, once the freight is on the truck, it’s yours.

If the damage is concealed you only have 10 days to file a concealed damage claim.

Merchandise returned to us for credit is yours until it is received back in our store.

Ship it by any method that you want but make sure you can furnish proof of delivery (tracking number) back to us.Please include your  Most of our products ship well and we have very little freight damaged.


If the products you receive are not what you need you can return them for credit, less freight charges. If they are not what you ordered you can return them for credit or full refund, including freight charges. We have been in business for over 37 years and know that your trust is essential to our success. We will never do any anything to break that trust.


All products are guaranteed to be fit for their intended purpose and are shipped F.O.B. our dock.
